Building a house usually takes about five days. Our team of OHF staff will be on the ground to supervise and guide volunteers to build a house correctly and safely. Volunteers will help to construct all parts of the house with the exception of the roof, which will be completed by our staff.

For teams that are unable to stay for the full duration of five days, OHF will be able to pre-build the house up to a suitable stage from which the volunteer team will be able to continue construction such that they can complete the house at the end of their volunteering.
