It takes just two days to complete building a well for a needy family. The first day is usually spent drilling into the ground to reach the water table and the second day is spent installing the handpump and constructing the platform. At OHF, we own our own well drilling rig, so volunteer teams will have a first hand opportunity to actually help to operate the drilling rig! Our team of staff will also be on the ground to supervise and assist at all times.
