Her father, a hardworking daily-wage construction worker, struggled to provide for his family. During the rainy season, when construction work was scarce, he would try to catch fish by the river, often returning home empty-handed. Their situation worsened when her mother fell seriously ill, and the medical bills pushed them into deep debt. In a desperate attempt to survive, her father had to sell half of the family’s land, a precious inheritance meant for their future. Despite his sacrifices, the debt only grew. Heartbroken and out of options, her father made the painful decision to send his children to our orphanage, believing it was the only way they could receive the care and education he could no longer provide. It was a decision made out of love, hoping for a better future for them, even as he faced an unbearable loss.
