How Can Educational Institutions Help?
SINCE 2004, OHF HAS RUN COMMUNITY SERVICE AND OCIP PROGRAMMES FOR SCHOOLS.
Organise your next Overseas Community Involvement Programme (OCIP) with us! Many schools and educational institution, including secondary schools, junior colleges, polytechnics, as well as universities have partnered us on building projects, provide clean water for primary schools, and worked on developing solutions for the poor.
Teams can build decent housing and WASH facilities for poorest of the poor families in Cambodia. Students get hands-on opportunities to make a difference, always completing their projects with a sense of achievement and joy.
Universities and polytechnics have:
- Installed alarm systems
- Build solar cookers and dryers
- Designed, build and install LED lights with solar panel and a charging system
- Build Aquaponics systems
The Food Science Faculty of NUS and Harvey Mudd College students have worked on a low cost vegetable processor project with OHF.
