Family background

The father of this family passed away and the mother remarried and has a new family leaving Lay yi with his grandmother. His grandmother do not own a land and does farming for her neighbors when she is in good health. She is often sick and to secure their daily meals Lay Yi will find food at night by catching frog and fish using a torch light. The village chief seek help from OHF to provide school pack for Lay Yi so that he can continue going to school and food pack for the family.
