“Voeurn Sokvun is a 10 year old boy studying in grade 3 whereby his father is an odd job daily rate village worker earning 300000riels = S$90 a month and his mother is a housewife. His parents are in debt for borrowing money to rent a land for planting rice, but the harvest fail and now they have to pay back principal and interest every month. The earning from the father cannot support 3 children and some days they do not have enough food. Because they are poor, they receive government support of 54000riels = S$16.20 a month
