Family background

Kim Linh Linh is a 11-year-old girl studying in grade 5 whereby her parents are divorced and her father passed away. Her mother works in Phnom Pehn, sometimes she sends money around 50000riels = S$15, sometimes she did not send money home. Linh Linh is staying in a rental house and because the grandmother is sick so Linh Linh’s sister Rachana studying in grade 9 will sell peanut after school earning 15000riels S$4.50 a month to support the family. Because they are poor, they receive government support of 74000riels a month
