OHF Solution

Organic Fertiliser

This Biomax Digester is able to convert organic waste into fertilizers in just 24 hours! Many countries have problems disposing of their organic waste. Now we can convert them into valuable fertilizers!

Conventional chemical fertilizers can have negative impacts on soil health, the environment, and human health, and they are really costly. The price has increased by at least 40% globally from 2010 to present. These price increases can have a significant impact on rice farmers and food production, particularly in low-income countries where access to affordable fertilizer is essential for crop yields and food security.

Potential Solution

As a result, there is growing interest in alternative, sustainable fertilizers, such as organic fertilizers, to help reduce reliance on costly chemical fertilizers. Furthermore, organic fertilizers is more sustainable and environmentally friendly.

How it Works?

There are a few things to keep in mind when using organic fertilizers on rice fields. First, it’s important to choose a fertilizer that is appropriate for rice cultivation. Some organic fertilizers, such as compost or manure, may not be suitable for use in flooded rice fields because they can release too much nitrogen too quickly, which can lead to problems with pests and diseases.

Second, the timing of fertilizer application is important in rice cultivation. Typically, organic fertilizers are applied to rice fields either before planting or during the early stages of growth. This helps to ensure that the plants have the nutrients they need to establish healthy root systems and grow vigorously.

Finally, when using organic fertilizers in flooded rice fields, it’s important to consider the potential for nutrient loss due to leaching. Nutrient loss can be minimized by using slow-release fertilizers, applying fertilizers in multiple small doses rather than one large dose, and avoiding fertilizer application during heavy rainfall or flooding events.

Our Experience

OHF has purchased a 2tons Biomax Digester machine which will be delivered to Cambodia in September 2023. We have completed the infrastructure to house the Digester including the High Tension Transformer for electrical supply and necessary paths.
