Family background

Vor Raksmey is a 12-year-old girl studying in Grade 5. Her father works as a village laborer, earning about 300,000 riels per month (approximately SGD 100), while her mother is a housewife. The father’s income is not enough to support the family’s basic needs, including sending all three children to school.
