Youth Expedition Program (YEP)
YEP is a grant-supported initiative by Youth Corps Singapore for students aged 15–35 to:
- Engage in overseas community service (e.g., building houses, wells , toilets and Water Systems for schools, technology projects such as aquaponic , solar cooker, fruit drying machines , teaching).
- Develop leadership and cross-cultural skills through reflection frameworks.
- Partner with OHF’s 15+ years of expertise in Cambodia ensuring safe and meaningful hands-on experience for volunteers.
OHF has over 20 years of experience organizing hands-on projects for YEP teams. From building houses, wells and toilets to aquaponic systems, solar cookers and UV water systems, youths are able to contribute their technical knowledge and learn what technology can be used by villagers. They interact with the community and appreciate the depth of poverty faced by other countries.
