Dapong’s father worked as a construction worker and was the pillar of strength for his family, caring for his children and his wife, who has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old. Sadly, when he passed away, the weight of looking after the family fell on their elderly grandmother, who, despite her love for them, struggles without a job and is advanced in age. With a heavy heart, the grandmother made the difficult decision to send Dapong and his siblings to our orphanage, hoping to provide them with the care she can no longer give while she continues to look after their mother.
