Family background

Thea Heng is a 9‑year‑old boy currently studying in grade 2. He was born with a leg deformity that affects his mobility. His father works as a laborer in their village, earning about US$200 per month, while his mother stays at home to care for their family. With six family members depending on a single income, the father’s earnings are not enough to meet their basic needs. Last year, a company kindly supported the family by providing them with a new house.
